  1. If you happen to be in beautiful Cornwall at anytime between Saturday 29th July and Saturday 12th August, why not pay a visit to stunning Mawnan Smith near Falmouth? 

    At the Memorial Hall, on Sampys Hill, there's the annual Cornish Craft Market, home to dozens of artists, crafters and makers for 2 weeks only - there will be a huge array of Cornish gifts and artwork available to buy, including:

    Jewellery

    Tea Towels

    Coasters

    Tote Bags

    Framed Prints

    Original Artwork

    Handmade washbags and purses

    Coastal themed gift ideas

    Seaside homewares

    Cushions

    Mugs

    Wood carving

    Beaded work

    Felt and fabric work

    Cards

    Plus lots more besides. There's a wonderful little tea room and both the hall and tea room are open daily from 10am til 5pm.

    Simply browse and buy from any stalls you like and bring all your items to the front of the hall to pay, all together.  

    The event is run by the most incredible group of volunteers - you'll meet some if you visit!

  2. If you're visiting Cornwall between Saturday 29th July and Saturday 12th August, there's a fantastic Craft Market taking place in Mawnan Smith in South Cornwall.

    Mawnan Smith is approximately 3 miles south of beautiful Falmouth and is definitely worth a visit.

    The craft market runs for 2 weeks and is open daily from 10am til 5pm and is located in the Memorial Hall on Sampys Hill (TR11 5EW).  Here, you'll find arts and crafts from a wide range of Cornish artists, designers and makers, beautifully displayed and all available to purchase. 

    Plus, if you fancy a break either before or after browsing all the gifts available, then the adjacent tea room is also open.

    Mawnan Smith Craft Market is a major event in the Cornish Calendar and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.  The majority of what you'll see is not available on the High Street so if you're looking for something original or would just like to support the Cornish Arts and Crafts Community, then please pop by - you'll be made very welcome indeed.
